This is a nice park. Only thing is that the sites are close together as you would have in a private park. However, it is OK and you are in the middle of the woods. They have recovered from the hurricanes of the past few years. You are only a mile and a half from downtown Lumberton. It is a very popular park for people with canoes. They have several good restaurants and a WalMart Supercenter.

This is one of the best RV parks in Louisiana. From when you enter the facility there is concrete. The sites are long and double wide at the front so you can park 2 vehicles side by side. They have about a 10 acre lake with a sidewalk around it. The bathrooms are super clean. It is only a mile and a quarter south of I12. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We think this park is one of the top 5 in the state. We used it as a base for 2 weeks while checking out things around Baton Rouge.

This was the 2nd time this year we were at this park and it is great. It is by far the best casino park we have seen and one of the best parks period we have ever stayed in and we are full time. Has paved streets, concrete pads and plenty of room. You can walk to the casino in less than 5 minutes or ride a shuttle that comes through every few minutes to the casino. We will stay here again.

This park is just OK. The only thing it really has going for it is that it is on the Mississippi River but the closest sites are almost 200 feet away. The rate reflects Passport America so they are expensive for what you get. They also charge $5 a night for 50 amp and taxes are 13.44%. There were only about 10 rigs on our side of about 80 sites and they put arriving rigs way down from the office and restrooms. Interior roads are gravel, pads are concrete but short for being pull-through sites. We will not stay here again.

We were only here for the night. There was some freeway noise but not too bad. Is five miles or more to fuel stations or eating places. Campground has gravel roads and pads. Not a bad park but nothing special: served our purpose on our way back to Texas. We would stay here again.

We were only here for a night but could have stayed for 2 weeks. The only reason it's not a 10 is they have no sewer hookups. It is the best COE campground we have seen. Air conditioned restrooms and a laundry. Some of the back-in sites are close to a 100 feet long and some of the pull-through sites are about 150 feet long. We would stay here again.

This is the place to go for doing things in the Louisville area. We were here for 5 weeks and loved it. Easy access to the freeway. Level gravel sites, good voltage and good water pressure. The bathrooms were very clean and cleaned every day. Wi-Fi works well. Rate reflects weekly rate. We would stay here again.

This is the best park in the Nashville area. Sites are gravel and fairly level. Interior roads could use some work. Wal-Mart is 8 miles away, also Cracker Barrel, and Ryans. It is nothing fancy but was all we needed. Easy access to I-40. We would stay her again.

Great park, would have given it a 10 if the streets & pads were hard surface. They were gravel but level and the pull thru sites were plenty long. Restrooms were immaculate. Laundry only had 2 washers and dryers. Close to plenty of eating places and Wal-Mart was 10 miles away in Glasgow. Management very friendly. This is the best park in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice park but is not fancy. If you need a pool or spa this is not for you. We had a site on the river and watched the tugs and tows going up and down the river. Nice and quiet except when a tow is going by but not distracting. We would stay here again when in the area. Good voltage and water pressure. They are constantly working to improve things.

This is a great park when passing through the area. They have 2 rows of pull-thrus that are just for overnighters or short term. We have stayed here in the past and will again.

The nightly rate reflects Golden Age Passport and the fact that we were sharing a double site with our travel buddies. Very pretty park with a clear flowing creek running through it. The full hookup sites only have 30 amp service. AT&T service is lousy there since you are down in a hole between hills. Fairly distant from shopping, fuel, etc. If you want peace and quiet this is a great place.

Very nice casino RV park with everything. We were comped for the nights we were there so I don't know the rate. The only drawback is that it is about a half mile to the casino but they have shuttles. We would stay there again.

This is the nicest casino RV park we have seen. Plenty of room between the sites with garbage cans between each 2 sites. Cement picnic table at each site. You can walk to the casino in 5 minutes or ride one of the many frequent shuttles that pass through the park. City police patrol the park frequently. Lots of chalets and cabins also. McDonalds and Burger King within walking distance and WalMart Supercenter less than a mile away. $17 a night Monday-Thursday, $22 on weekends. We stayed 6 nights and ended up being comped for all 6 nights. We will stay here again.

Nice older park with plenty of room between the sites. Really meant for long term as most of the ones are used as such. Nothing really wrong with the park unless you are looking for frills. There are no restrooms, showers, laundromat or pool. That is OK with us as we have all the facilities we need in our trailer. It is very quiet there and served our purpose very well.

This is a great park. We were running from Hurricane Ike, and then we had to leave there after 2 days. The rate reflects a 20% Escapees RV Club discount. Management is great. We left with 2 days paid up yet and before the office opened. My wife called after the office opened and the lady had already credited our credit card since another employee had told her we left early. That is great service. We will definitely be back to this park.

Just the kind for park that we like. It has good ,level gravel pull through sites that are plenty long. We were on the back row and it was very quiet. The only drawback is that it is very remote. The closest fuel station is 11 miles away and the closest WalMart is 19 miles away. But if you want a place to just go and chill this is a great place. We will stay here again.

Nice shady, level sites. Some are short but we had a long one. They are all back in. Sites are close together for a state park but was not a problem as each site was a few feet lower than the one next to you. Only 30 amp but was not a problem because of the shade. It is about 18 miles to Mena and the closest WalMart. We would stay here again. The park has a lodge with a buffet and every time we were there there was a line for the buffet.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the rate reflects Passport America. This is a great park. We pulled into our site after being led by the lady from the office and our trailer was sitting almost perfectly level. That was a great start. Voltage is good, water pressure OK and WiFi worked great. WalMart less than 2 miles away and so is a Lowes. There is a good BBQ restaurant about a mile away called Ranch House. It was almost perfect for us since we don't need swimming pools or anything but full hookups and a level site. If it had paved or concrete sites I would have given it a 10. We will stay here again when back in the area.

We stayed here overnight on our way. It is a good park owned by a church. Nothing fancy but we don't need fancy. Good voltage and water pressure. Good park to use when exploring the attractions of the area. We would stay here whenback in the area.

This is a good park, but the interior roads could use a little work. Voltage was excellant, water pressure OK but flow not that great. Good place to stay to do all the Omaha and Lincoln area things. Sites were pretty level but not perfect. There are some really neat little towns around the area. Rate reflects a weekly rate. We would stay here again and probably will next year.

This is a city park that is mostly used by HitchHiker 5th wheel owners who are in for repair/warranty work but would be great for anyone passing through the area just needing an overnight stop. We were having warranty work done and it was plenty accommodating for that. The first 2 nights are free and then it is only $10 a night. The sites are nice and level and easy access. There is a WalMart less than a mile away and an excellent Mexican food restaurant El Pueblito right behind WalMart. We would stay here again.

This place is great. About a quarter mile from the freeway but it is quiet. It is a great stopover place with 100 foot long pull through sites. It also is a great place to do the tourist thing like we are doing. We are here for 2 weeks and the rate reflects the weekly rate. There is lots to see and do in the area. There is a Dairy Queen about a hundred yards from the park and several restaurants within 1/4 mile. Also, 2 fuel station/convenience stores within the same 1/4 mile. I would have given it a 10 if the roads/site pads were concrete or paved. They are gravel but very sturdy.

We moved to this park from another one close by that had electrical problems. Sites are fairly level gravel. Our pull thru was at least 80 feet long. Close to a restaurant, grocery store, filling stations. WIFI was exceptional. You can stay hooked up and walk to all the above mentioned stores, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived at about 2 PM and got our site. It was full hookup, but only 30 AMP which would be all right since it was to be just a 1 night stopover. The first thing I noticed was the receptacle was upside down. I plugged in my surge protector and it said 'reverse polarity'. So I checked the site next door and it was OK so we moved to that site. We got all hooked up and about 7 PM the AC shut off but I didn't think much about that. Then a minute later I looked at the refrigerator and it was running on gas. I went out and had a 'ground fault' error and Line 1 voltage was 134 and Line 2 voltage was 135. The surge protector shut down the electrcity just like it should. I unplugged it and told my wife we were leaving. Stay away from this place because the managers say everything is OK and just turn your plug over if the receptacle is upside down. That don't fly!

We were there 2 weeks and hated to leave. The owners live on site and are very accommodating. Fairly level gravel sites. Good water and electric. WI-FI worked great. They have a monthly rate which most of the other parks do not have. It is 5 miles from the middle of downtown Custer. It is very quiet and a good place to see all the sights from or just to chill out. We will be there for at least a month next year.

Very nice park with level, hard gravel sites. Nice pet walk pens and plenty of grass for pets to do their business. Nice laundry with large washers and only a dollar to wash and a dollar to dry. Very nice pool. Good park lighting. Leave an empty Liquid Propane (LP) bottle out and they will refill it and return it to your site. We would stay here again.

Older park, sites close together but everything worked well. WIFI worked great, the park is in 2 sections and they have a server for each section. They also have great BBQ you can purchase every evening. They have 2 laundry buildings. We would stay here again.

This is not your normal KOA. This place is great. I don't know what the previous had for breakfast but evidently it did not agree with him. The staff goes out of their way to help you. They have a heated pool and are in the process of putting in a 9 hole minature golf course. The sites are gravel and pretty level with grass by your site. They have a large dog run and a large dog walk area. We would stay here again.

Fantastic views, level sites, all hard gravel. We were backed up and had a beautiful view out our back window. Great place to stay a few days or just overnight. Close to I-25 but road noise is not bad. Easy on, easy off. All facilities work great and park staff is very helpful and friendly. Cg is at 7,888 feet at the top of Raton Pass so when you leave either way you can coast for miles. Take exit 460 off of I-25 and follow the signs. We would stay here again.

Very nice park, large level sites. Convenient to everything in the area. They even have washers and dryers. If you go in June be ready for the Cottonwood tree snowflakes. Also, there are a large number of bicyclists everyday that have their own lane to ride in, but some of them insist on riding in the automobile lane. Also, some of then do not stop at the STOP signs so you have to watch out for them but it is not real bad.

This is a good park if you have a boat. Tent sites with water only outnumber water/electric sites. There are lots of stickers if you have a long haired dog. There is a grocery store and plenty of eating places within 5 miles. They even have a landing strip if you have an airplane.

I totally agree with the last poster. We were at the same Escapees Escapade and it was great. We were in the largest park which is Boxelder. Every site had full hookups and all worked great. This is a perfect place for anyone's rally. It is about 3 miles to town and they have a Wal-Mart Supercenter, Home Depot, numerous fast food places, and restaurants.

This place has a nice layout with 6 site circles. There is 50 amp electric which is real nice, and covered picnic tables. There is not a lot of shade as the main trees are Mesquite which are really large bushes. It is a long way for a significant grocery store or Walmart. There is a large area for boaters to park their boat trailers. They have 2 lighted fishing piers.

Good large, level concrete sites with more spacing than usual. Convenient to attractions and beach area. Lots of good restaurants that are reasonably priced. Management good. Good voltage and water pressure. They have 3 restroom/laundry buildings. The have an indoor and outdoor pool. They have a very reasonable monthly rate that includes electricity. We stayed 10 nights but will be back for a month next year.

This park would be a 10 if they had some shade trees. Other than that everything is great. Close to the Woodlands Mall and other shopping. Their is a large Kroger and HEB grocery store within 2 miles. Good long, level pull thru sites. Rate reflects weekly rate. We will be back for a month in December.

Park is nice with large level, well spaced sites. Trash can at every site. Nice laundry room. The only downer is since the hurricane there is still a lot of the attractions still closed. Casino noon buffet Monday-Friday is $4.99 and has good food. The pool is at the Casino hotel. Shuttle runs every 15 minutes to the casino and security visible 24 hours a day.

This park is a work in progress, as it is very new. They had an architect do the layout, but I don't think he had any knowledge of RV parks. So, to solve the problem they are adding more concrete at the sites to make them better. The management is very accomodating, and will do whatever it takes to make your stay pleasant. The rate reflects the weekly rate. Their swimming pool is simply amazing. It is the largest pool of any RV park I have seen. We will be back for a month next year.

We got the Passport America rate. We had a pullthru and hooking up was very easy. There are 2 hookups on each post so one RV goes in one way and the other goes in the other way. Not real close to anything but if you want peace and quiet this will do it. We only stayed one night on our way to Kissimmee. It is 7 or 8 miles from I-10 so we would stay closer to the freeway next time. Voltage was very good and we got the best signal ever for our AT&T air card.

Staff very friendly, nice park, level gravel sites, beautiful landscaping, good voltage, water pressure fluctuates but was not a problem. Only real drawback is they don't let you use your washer/dryer in your rig. Great restaurant less than half a mile away named Creekside Grill. We would stay here again. The Tallahassee area is very nice with lots to do.

Easy access from I75. Older park with narrow access roads but we had no trouble with our 36' fifth wheel. We got a nice long pullthru which was pretty level. Voltage was good, water pressure good, cable was bad. Lots of attractive moss laden trees. Lots of long term people. Not very close to much but we used as a stopover on our way to our destination. We would use it again for a stopover.

We stayed here as a one night stop on the way to Florida. Most of the sites are pull thru and fairly level. They are gravel. They have 2 sewer connections at each site that are at least 15 feet apart. Very nice since not all rigs sewer connections are in the same place. WI-FI worked real good. Good park for a stopover but would not stay there for more than a few nights. Management very friendly. Rate reflects Good Sam discount.

The amenities are very nice. However, the back in sites are tricky to back in. They have mulched the pet walk area so it is useless. I asked about several discounts such as Good Sam and Escapees and was told it was already a discounted rate. That is pure BS. We paid $38.50 plus tax. We stayed there since it was only for 1 night but will not stay there again. The WIiFi dropped very often as a previous poster noted.

Older park built before slideouts and large rigs. Streets are narrow with tight turns on several streets. RV is on grass/dirt with a concrete patio with a small picnic table. Water pressure fluctuates, voltage was good, did not use cable. There is no breaker box, just a 50 amp receptacle. Lots of returning seasonals staying 3-6 months. Park tow vehicle or toad beside RV on grass, no problem. All streets are one way. Large water treatment pond in center of park but no problem. Outside lighting is good. We stayed 3 weeks but will stay somewhere else if we return to this area.

This is a very nice place. We have been here since November 18th and will be leaving on March 6th. Management is very accommodating. Sites are concrete and level. WIFI is weak if not by the office so we use our aircard. Voltage is great. The recreation building has 4 washers/dryers for only $1 each to use. They have a pool table, table shuffleboard, Foosball, television, and lots of tables. They have a full kitchen you can use. The only real downside is there are no trees big enough for any kind of shade. We would stay here again.

This is a very nice state park with lots of shaded sites and some that are very open if that is what you like. It is 7 miles from Edna and 32 from Victoria. Edna has a regular WalMart that is open 24 hours a day and a HEB. They also have several good restaurants and plenty of gas/diesel stations. The people that work at the park are very nice and friendly. They have a new playgound for the kids with one of the multiuse gyms with slides.

The park is very nice and quiet. They do have ice and propane at the museum / store. You are out a ways from a main highway about 15 minutes away. The upper campground has more shade but you have about 10 feet of grass from the pavement to the concrete pad for your RV. We stayed in the lower campground. The best sites for shade are 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. They have a phone in the laundry room and another jack for email usage. The people are very friendly and helpful. The park ranger even brought 2 bags of ice to a motorhome that came in late in the evening after hours. A very nice place to get away from hustle and bustle.
